Chris is the founder of gym & fitness movement Life Hub – a studio described as “a place to escape the daily grind, cut loose, gain clarity and realize true strength that last long beyond its studio walls.” For Chris and his team, it’s about changing more than bodies, rather about changing lives which makes for a perfect fit for Chris with Run Melbourne. Chris will be supporting Beyond Blue at Run Melbourne, as they supported him and his extended family tremendously when his sister in-law took her own life a few years ago.

RUN MELBOURNE COACHES

WE’VE HANDPICKED TWO EXPERT COACHES TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR TRAINING JOURNEY FOR 2018. THEY’RE DEDICATED TO MOTIVATE AND INSPIRE YOU TO EMBRACE THE FEELING ON JULY 29.

Focusing on two key elements – running and mindfulness, our Run Melbourne Coaches bring an abundance of expert

advice and tips straight to you in the lead-up and for race day.

Ryan Mannix

Run Coach

Instagram: @Ryanmannix_yoga

Ryan has always had a keen interest in movement – he was a professional athlete for over ten years, representing Australia in both running and duathlon. When Ryan was sidelined with an injury from a serious bike accident, he started yoga as a means of rehabilitation. What was meant to be short term, became a long loving passion for this new form of movement. Yoga became a new opportunity to move and feel connected.

Kat John

Mindfulness Coach

Instagram: @Kat.John

Kat’s professional background is a Registered Nursing and Psychology (graduate diploma). In an industry that primarily deals with people’s symptoms rather than treating the whole person, she saw patient’s and clients become victims to their conditions and got tired of seeing people disempowered.

It was time for her to get out and share the miracles that take place when you reach into your soul and get to know yourself from the inside out.
