on Key Training Components for Run Melbourne, Nutrition for runners, as well as inspiration & motivation.
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Session 1 - Key Training Components for Run Melbourne
Tim Crosbie has been coaching runners for more than 20 years, ranging from beginner level through to elite Australian representatives. Head Coach of the Crosbie Crew, Tim has been involved with Run Melbourne for more than 10 years in a coaching capacity and also oversees the Melbourne Marathon training series. Tim’s Education Session will help you on your road to Run Melbourne with expert training advice leading up to the event, what to do the week and day of the event, as well as specific training tips for the 5K, 10K and Runner’s World Half Marathon events.
Session 2 - Nutrition for Runners
Katherine’s passion for sports nutrition stems from her personal involvement in endurance events including Ironman, marathon and ultra-marathon races. After a few years of experimenting with CrossFit, she found her way back to her passion for anything long distance by taking up marathon swimming. Katherine’s Education Session will focus on nutrition for runners; nutritional pathway for peak performance and health, fuelling for performance and more!
Session 3 - Motivation & Inspiration
As well as our Run Melbourne Ambassador, Chris Cannon, is the founder of gym & fitness movement Life Hub – a studio described as “a place to escape the daily grind, cut loose, gain clarity and realize true strength that last long beyond its studio walls.” For Chris and his team it’s about changing more than bodies, rather about changing lives which makes for a perfect fit for Chris with Run Melbourne. Chris’ Education Session will be focusing on motivation and inspiration to help you on your Road to Run Melbourne.
