TIMING & RESULTS
How will I be timed on day & what is net time?
Timing on day:
All runners in the Half-Marathon, the 10k and 5k races will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all Run Melbourne participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.
Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places. These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
Where can I find my results?
Live results will be available online from www.runmelbourne.com.au. Participants that have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2 will receive their results SMS on the evening of the event, and finishers will receive a certificate via email.
