When do online registrations open & close?
Registrations opened on Monday 18 December 2017 and close on the following date: Thursday 12 April 2018 Midnight
I’m having trouble entering - what do I do?
Run the Rock uses ‘Realbuzz’ registrations, which offers a high level of protection and privacy for our entrants. However, there are now certain browsers and software versions that are unsupported by the Realbuzz registration system and may cause issues when attempting to register for all events.
Please note the following to ensure that these issues do not occur when you are registering.
Unsupported Internet Browsers include- ‘Internet Explorer 8’ and below. Please note: Internet Explorer 9 will soon no longer be supported by our registration system.
Supported Internet Browsers include- ‘Mozilla Firefox’, ‘Google Chrome’, ‘Safari’ If you do not have any of the supported internet browsers, just click on the links below to download or type any respective browser name into Google and download one; each browser is fast to download and free. Alternatively, any smart phone or tablet will have supported software. As a result, Run Melbourne can ensure that our users have a hassle-free experience when registering for events.

I accidentally entered the wrong details on my registration
If you need to change your registration details (name, distance or postage) this will incur a $10 administration fee.
If you need to update your email address, you can do so via the “Members Hub”. Please log back into your registration, select your event and click “View Details”.
I have lost or never received my confirmation email, can I have it resent?
Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email (e-ticket). If you can still not locate it, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request to have your confirmation email resent
What are my options if I’ve entered, and can no longer participate?
You don’t have to notify Sole Motive if you are unable to run for any reason.
However, there are no refunds for non-starters or non-finishers. We do offer the following:
- A credit note for another Sole Motive event, or
- You can downgrade your distance.
Withdraw from the event – receive a credit note:
We do offer a *credit note, or you can downgrade your distance or transfer your registration over to another participant – these offers all incur a $10 admin fee. Note: these offers are available until 5pm Friday April 6. After this point, credit notes will not be issued, but if you wish to change your distance or transfer your registration within the week of the event, you can still do by emailing email@example.com
Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuing and valid for Sole Motive owned events and cannot be used for contracted events. Refunds will not be issued.
Downgrade from your race:
Event downgrades can be made online up until 12th April. Please email Sole Motive firstname.lastname@example.org or phone (03) 9285 0600. Please note: Any changes to your registration (name, distance, postage) will incur a $10 administration fee.
Can my friend take my entry if I can no longer compete?
There is a $10 admin fee to transfer your entry into someone else’s name.
How can I downgrade / upgrade my race?
Event upgrades and downgrades can be made online up until 12th April. After this date, any event changes must be made on the event evening. Please email Sole Motive email@example.com or phone (03) 9285 0600. Please note: Any changes to your registration (name, distance, postage) will incur a $10 administration fee.
I’ve already registered but I want to join a team.
If you wish to join a team, you can do so via the ‘My Events Portal’. Please log back into your registration and select to ‘Join a Team.’
I have a toddler do they have to pay?
Children under four years of age are not required to pay the entry fee, however for safety and insurance reasons we do still require an entry form to be completed. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Are the courses Wheelchair /Pram friendly?
Unfortunately at Run the Rock due to the offroad nature of all distances it is not wheelchair friendly. All terrain prams may be used but please be aware of the uneven ground and narrow paths at times.
