ENTRY & RACE PACK INFORMATION

RACE PACK COLLECTION

Please note: there is NO Race Pack collection from the Sole Motive Store.

 

PRE-EVENT COLLECTION:

Will be available in the days leading up to the event. Location, times and dates will be announced closer to the event.

 

EVENT DAY COLLECTION:
Race Packs are available for collection from the Portsea Twilight presented by Food for Health Event Village located at the Race Pack Collection marquee in the Event Village (Jarman Oval) from 9:00am Saturday January 5.

RACE PACK POSTAGE

All entries received before 11:59pm, Thursday 13 December can opt to have their Race Pack posted to them. All postage will incur a $8.95 fee.

NAME ON BIB

Participants who register before 11:59pm Sunday, 2 December will have their Race Bib personalised with their name or a nickname.

BAG DROP

Bag drop is available during the run/walk and is located in the Event Village. Your race bib features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your bag for you to easily collect it after your run.

Do not leave any valuables in the bag drop area, as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.

Please note, we are drastically cutting down on single-use plastics and will no longer be supplying plastic bags at our events. Remember to bring your own reusable bags for your belongings. 

When do online registrations open & close?

Registrations opened on Monday 22 October 2018 and close 11:59pm Thursday 3 January 2019.

I’m having trouble entering - what do I do?

Portsea Twilight uses ‘Realbuzz’ registrations, which offers a high level of protection and privacy for our entrants. However, there are now certain browsers and software versions that are unsupported by the Realbuzz registration system and may cause issues when attempting to register for all events.

Please note the following to ensure that these issues do not occur when you are registering.

Unsupported Internet Browsers include- ‘Internet Explorer 8’ and below. Please note: Internet Explorer 9 will soon no longer be supported by our registration system.

 

Supported Internet Browsers include- ‘Mozilla Firefox’, ‘Google Chrome’, ‘Safari’ If you do not have any of the supported internet browsers, just click on the links below to download or type any respective browser name into Google and download one; each browser is fast to download and free. Alternatively, any smart phone or tablet will have supported software. As a result, we can ensure that our users have a hassle-free experience when registering for events.

I accidentally entered the wrong details on my registration

If you need to change your registration details (name, distance or postage) this will incur a $10 administration fee.

 

If you need to update your email address  you can do so via the “Members Hub”. Please log back into your registration, select your event and click “View Details”.

I have lost or never received my confirmation email, can I have it resent?

Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email (e-ticket). If you can still not locate it, please email info@solemotive.com and request to have your confirmation email resent.

What are my options if I’ve entered, and can no longer participate?

You don’t have to notify Sole Motive, the organiser if you are unable to run for any reason.

However, there are no refunds for non-starters or non-finishers. We do offer the following:

  1. A credit note for another Sole Motive event, or
  2. You can downgrade your distance.

 

Withdraw from the event – receive a credit note:

Withdrawals can be made until 5:00pm, Friday 28 December 2018. If you are unable to participate and require a credit note (minus $10 administration fee) please email our team info@solemotive.com.

 

After this date, no credit notes will be issued. Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuing and valid for Sole Motive owned events and cannot be used for contracted events. Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuing. Refunds will not be issued. When an entrant registers, they agree to the below terms and conditions;

 

  1. I agree that there are no refunds, however, I may request a credit note for other Sole Motive owned events* (minus $10 for admin fees) no later than 5pm Friday, one week prior to the event date.

Downgrade from your race:

Event downgrades can be made online up until January 3 2019 . Please email Sole Motive info@solemotive.com or phone (03) 9285 0600. Please note: Any changes to your registration (name, distance, postage) will incur a $10 administration fee.

Can my friend take my entry if I can no longer compete?

How can I downgrade / upgrade my race?

Event upgrades and downgrades can be made online up until January 3 2019. After this date, any event changes must be made in person at the event.  Please email Sole Motive info@solemotive.com or phone (03) 9285 0600. Please note: Any changes to your registration (name, distance, postage) will incur a $10 administration fee.

I’ve already registered but I want to join a team

Please email Sole Motive info@solemotive.com or phone (03) 9285 0600 with your full name, team name and the email address you used when entering the event before 5pm Thursday January 3 and we will add you to the team.

I have a toddler do they have to pay?

Children under four years of age are not required to pay the entry fee, however for safety and insurance reasons we do still require an entry form to be completed. Please email info@solemotive.com.

Is the course Wheelchair friendly?

The 8km course is not ideal for wheelchair participants however the 4k course is wheelchair friendly. If you have any queries please contact the event organisers (phone: 03 9285 0600 or email info@solemotive.com).

Are prams allowed on the course?

Prams are not permitted on the 8K course.

Off-road prams are allowed on the 4K course. We ask participants who do take a pram on the course to be mindful and watch their step.
