Run Melbourne is taking place on Sunday, 28 July 2019. Powered by Sole Motive since 2008, this event isn’t your average run. It has grown into a movement that has changed the culture and what it means to run through the city streets.
The three distances on offer include the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K events. Run Melbourne is inclusive of all genders, ages and abilities.
Participants are encouraged to give their training extra motivation by fundraising for a cause close to their heart.
This year is the 12th year of Run Melbourne.
Distances on offer are the Half Marathon, 10K and the 5K.
Start times – Half Marathon: 7:00am, 10K: 9:15am, 5K: 10:30am.
$2M is the fundraising goal for 2019.
All participants will receive a medal.
Cheer stations will be on-course.
All distances will run past iconic Melbourne landmarks – MCG, Rod Laver Arena and Tthe Arts Centre.
The Event Village will have entertainment, food vendors and a coffee vendor.
