TRAINING CLUB

This year we’re helping you unleash your inner drive with our Run Melbourne Training Club. 

On Tuesdays we’re collaborating with the Crosbie Crew and accredited run coach Tim Crosbie to deliver endurance and speed sessions designed to improve running technique.

We’ve got your back with your Sunday long run. Join us as we build up the K’s in preparation for the big event. 

All you need to do to get involved is turn up at the time and place listed below, ready to run (view the full schedule).

Tim Crosbie, Tuesday Run Leader

Tim Crosbie is a running coach with over 20 years experience, ranging from beginner level through to elite Australian representatives.

Head Coach of the Crosbie Crew, Tim has been involved with Run Melbourne for more than 10 years in a coaching capacity and also oversees the Melbourne Marathon training series.

Working for Athletics Victoria as the Recreational Running Coordinator, Tim is actively involved with running groups and events across the state and is also travels the country as Athletics Australia’s chief facilitator for Recreational Running coach education.

Nick Scott, Sunday Run Leader

Nick is a keen triathlete with 20 years racing experience. He has also been a personal trainer for the past 20 years with a very strong passion for athletic movement and performance. Specialising in performance training and exercise correction for runners and triathletes, Nick has worked closely with athletes of all ages and abilities ranging from injury prevention and rehabilitation to sports specific training. 

Nick is a PE Teacher by day and a athletic/movement coach by night. He is very passionate about helping athletes of all abilities get the most out of their bodies via a personal a tailored running and conditioning program and believes this personalised approach to training is what athletes of all levels need in order to maximise their performance.

Nick appreciates that we all run for different reasons, therefore training needs to reflect the goal of the athlete. We all run for our own reasons and Nick’s coaching style reflects this philosophy.
