FAQ’s

 

RACE BIB INFORMATION

RACE BIB INFORMATION: please note, some information below may only apply to 3-pass series participants.

  • Participants who register for the 3-Pass Series before 11:59pm Sunday, 13 January 2019 will have a personalised race bib. Please note, individual race entrants do not have the option for a personalised race bib.
  • 3-Pass Series participants are required to keep their race bib for the entirety of the 3-Pass Series. If a participant loses/damages their race bib they may obtain another one for a $10 admin fee.
  • If a participant who is registered for an individual race loses/damages their race bib they can replace it for a $10 admin fee.

 

 

RACE PACK COLLECTION / POSTAGE

RACE 1 & 3-PASS SERIES – RACE PACK POSTAGE INFORMATION:

  • Participants who register before 11:59pm Monday, 21 January 2019 have the option to select postage.
  • Race Pack postage commences Thursday, 24 January 2019.

RACE 1 & 3-PASS SERIES – RACE PACK COLLECTION INFORMATION:

  • Participants who register BEFORE 11:59pm Thursday, 24 January 2019 have the option to collect their race bib from the Sole Motive Store (170 Queen St, Melbourne) from 12:00pm Friday, 25 January 2019 until 7:00pm Tuesday, 5 February 2019. PLEASE NOTE: Collection will NOT be available on Saturday, 26 January 2019 due to the public holiday.
  • If you cannot collect your Race Pack at the above dates/time or have registered AFTER 11:59pm Thursday, 24 January 2019 you can collect your Race Pack from the Race Pack collection marquee at the Event Village from 5:30pm on the day of the event.

 

RACE 2 – RACE PACK POSTAGE INFORMATION:

  • Participants who register before 11:59pm Wednesday, 6 February 2019 have the option to select postage.
  • Race Pack postage commences Thursday, 7 February 2019.

RACE 2 – RACE PACK COLLECTION INFORMATION:

  • Race Pack collection is available only on the day of the event fromRace Pack collection marquee at the Event Village from 5:30pm.

 

RACE 3 – RACE PACK POSTAGE INFORMATION:

  • Participants who register before 11:59pm Tuesday, 19 February 2019 have the option to select postage.
  • Race Pack postage commences Wednesday, 20 February 2019.

RACE 3 – RACE PACK COLLECTION INFORMATION:

  • Race Pack collection is available only on the day of the event from the Race Pack collection marquee at the Event Village from 5:30pm.

 

 

FREE Brooks singlet for 3-Pass Series participants

Brooks 3-Pass Series Singlet:

The first 1,500 3-Pass Series entrants will receive a free Brooks singlet.

Singlets sizes are subject to availability and given on first-in-first-served basis. Guarantee your size by pre-ordering your singlet when you register online for the 3-Pass Series (includes delivery, offer available for a limited time only).

3-Pass Series participants who register within the first 1,500, and choose not pre-order their singlet during the online registration, will have a tear-off strip on their race bib and can collect their singlet at the Sole Motive retail store or at the Event Village in exchange for their tear off.

 

SINGLET POSTAGE:

3-Pass Series Participants have the option to guarantee their size and have their Brooks singlet posted to them for a fee of $8.50. Postage commences Thursday, 24 January 2019.

 

SINGLET COLLECTION: *please note, if you choose to collect your singlet we cannot guarantee your size. 

3-Pass Series Participants can collect their Brooks singlet at the following dates and times:

RACE 1:

Sole Motive Store (170 Queen St, Melbourne)

  • Participants who register BEFORE 11:59pm Thursday, 24 January 2019 have the option to collect their singlet from the Sole Motive Store (170 Queen St, Melbourne) from 12:00pm Friday, 25 January 2019 until 7:00pm Tuesday, 5 February 2019. PLEASE NOTE: Collection will NOT be available on Saturday, 26 January 2019 due to the public holiday.

Event Village:

  • If you cannot collect your singlet at the above dates/times or have registered AFTER 11:59pm Thursday, 24 January 2019 you can collect your singlet at the Event Village from 5:30pm on the day of the event.

RACE 2:
Event Village

  • From 5:30pm Thursday, 21 February 2019.

RACE 3:

Event Village

  • From 5:30pm Wednesday, 6 March 2019.

Please note, $25 Brooks footwear vouchers CANNOT be claimed at Sunset Series 2019 events. Vouchers may only be redeemed from the Sole Motive Retail Store (170 Queen St, Melbourne) OR online using the code in the confirmation email.

 

Terms and Conditions:

All Sunset Series entrants (individual race or 3-Pass Series) receive a $25 off voucher on all Brooks shoes from Sole Motive. Please present proof of your entry (confirmation email) at Sole Motive, 170 Queen St to redeem or use the code in your e-ticket for online purchases. Voucher must be redeemed by 31 March 2019.
Cannot be used with any other offer.

When do online registrations open & close?

Registrations close online on the following dates for each race:

Race 1 – Online entries end midnight Tuesday 5 February 2019.

Race 2 – Online entries end midnight Wednesday 20 February 2019*

Race 3 –  Online entries end midnight Tuesday 5 March 2019*

*Note online registrations will be temporarily unavailable on the following event days: Wednesday 6 Feb & Thursday 21 Feb. Online registrations will become available again by 12noon the day after the events.

 

 

I’m having trouble entering - what do I do?

Sole Motive Events use ‘Realbuzz’ registrations, which offers a high level of protection and privacy for our entrants. However, there are now certain browsers and software versions that are unsupported by the Realbuzz registration system and may cause issues when attempting to register for all events.

Please note the following to ensure that these issues do not occur when you are registering.

Unsupported Internet Browsers include- ‘Internet Explorer 8’ and below. Please note: Internet Explorer 9 will soon no longer be supported by our registration system.

Supported Internet Browsers include- ‘Mozilla Firefox’, ‘Google Chrome’, ‘Safari’ If you do not have any of the supported internet browsers, just click on the links below to download or type any respective browser name into Google and download one; each browser is fast to download and free. Alternatively, any smartphone or tablet will have supported software. As a result, Sole Motive can ensure that our users have a hassle-free experience when registering for events.

I accidentally entered the wrong details on my registration

If you need to change your registration details (distance, address etc). Please email info@solemotive.com to request changes.

There is a $10 admin fee to transfer your entry into someone elses name.

 

I have lost or never received my confirmation email, can I have it resent?

Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email (e-ticket). You can view your e-ticket by logging into your member’s hub.  If you can still not locate it, please email info@solemotive.com and request to have your confirmation email resent.

 

What are my options if I’ve entered, and can no longer participate?

You don’t have to notify Sole Motive, the organiser if you are unable to run for any reason.

However, there are no refunds for non-starters or non-finishers. We do offer the following:

  1. A credit note for another Sole Motive event, or
  2. You can downgrade your distance.

Withdraw from the event – receive a credit note:

We do offer a *credit note, or you can downgrade your distance or transfer your registration over to another participant – these offers all incur a $10 admin fee. Note: credit notes are available until 5pm one week prior to the event. After this point, credit notes will not be issued, but if you wish to change your distance or transfer your registration over to another participant within the week of the event, you can still do by emailing info@solemotive.com

Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuing and valid for Sole Motive owned events and cannot be used for contracted events. Refunds will not be issued.

*Credit notes for full series (all three races) entrants will only be issued if Sole Motive is contacted before 5pm on Wednesday 30 January 2019.

Downgrade from your race:

Event downgrades can be made by emailing Sole Motive – info@solemotive.com or phone (03) 9285 0600.

Can my friend take my entry if I can no longer compete?

There is a $10 admin fee to transfer your entry into someone else’s name.

 

How can I downgrade / upgrade my race?

Event upgrades and downgrades can be made online by logging into your member’s hub until 5pm Monday before your event. Please email Sole Motive info@solemotive.com or phone (03) 9285 0600 if you need assistance. After this date, event changes will need to be made on the event evening. Please arrive early and visit the Entries Marquee.  Please note: Any changes to your registration (name, distance, postage) will incur a $10 administration fee.

 

I’ve already registered but I want to join a team.

If you wish to join a team, you can do so via the ‘My Events Portal’ until Online Registrations close.. Please log back into your registration and select to ‘Join a Team.’

 

 

I have a toddler do they have to pay?

Children under four years of age are not required to pay the entry fee, however for safety and insurance reasons we do still require an entry form to be completed. Please email info@solemotive.com

 

Are the courses Wheelchair friendly?

Yes, however, we request that all race wheelchair athletes enter the week before the date of the event. This is to ensure that event organisers can safely accommodate all wheelchair athletes on the course. Also if you are a race wheelchair athlete please indicate this in the entry process. Medals

 

Placegetter medals will be awarded to the first three male and female runners across the finish line for each distance. Medals will be handed out at the main stage.
